Pringle's Fine Wine & Spirits ("we," "us," "our") operates the Pringle's Fine Wine & Spirits mobile application (the "App") and the website at pringlesfinewine.com (the "Site"), through which you can browse and order beer, wine, spirits, and related products for delivery or pickup. This policy explains what information we collect through the App and Site, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
This App and Site are intended solely for individuals 21 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. See Children's Privacy below.
I. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly
- Account information — name, email address, and password, when you register an account.
- Order & delivery information — billing and shipping name, address, city, state, postal code, and phone number, provided at checkout (including for guest checkout, where you are not required to create an account).
- Order history — the products, quantities, and prices of orders you place, retained in our order records.
- Communications — anything you send us directly, such as customer support requests.
Information collected automatically
- Age confirmation — a simple yes/no flag confirming you attested to being 21 or older, stored locally on your device. We do not collect a birthdate, government ID, or other proof of age through the App itself.
- App preferences — language selection, cart contents, and wishlist items, stored locally on your device so they persist between sessions.
- Basic diagnostic data — standard technical logs generated by the app framework and your device's operating system (for example, crash logs), to the extent your device or app store settings enable this.
What we do not collect: the App does not process payment card information — all orders are Cash on Delivery, collected in person at the time of delivery. We do not use advertising SDKs, and the App does not track your precise device location.
II. How We Use It
- To create and manage your account, and authenticate you when you log in.
- To process, fulfill, and deliver your orders, including verifying the delivery address is within an area we're licensed to serve.
- To communicate with you about an order — confirmations, delivery updates, and issues.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To maintain the security and integrity of the App and Site, including detecting fraud or abuse.
- To comply with state alcohol-licensing, tax, and recordkeeping obligations, which generally require us to retain order and delivery records.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to serve you targeted third-party advertising.
III. Legal Basis & Age Restriction
Because this App facilitates the sale of alcoholic beverages, use of the App and Site is restricted to individuals who are at least 21 years old, the minimum legal drinking age in the United States. By confirming your age in the App and by placing an order, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the delivery recipient will as well — our delivery process may include an in-person age verification check (such as checking government-issued ID) at the time of delivery, independent of anything collected in the App.
We process your information on the following bases: performing our contract with you (fulfilling an order you placed), complying with legal obligations (alcohol sales recordkeeping, tax law), and our legitimate business interests (fraud prevention, customer support), balanced against your privacy interests.
V. Where It's Stored, How Long
Account, order, and delivery information is stored on our WooCommerce/WordPress infrastructure. App preferences (language, cart, wishlist, age confirmation) are stored locally on your device and are removed if you uninstall the App.
We retain order and account records for as long as your account is active and for a period afterward as required by applicable alcohol-sales recordkeeping and tax laws — generally 3 years. You may request deletion of your account as described in Your Rights, subject to these retention obligations.
VI. Security
We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted (HTTPS) transmission between the App and our servers — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately using the details below.
VII. Your Rights
- Access & update — review and update your account details from within the App, or by contacting us.
- Delete your account — request deletion of your account and associated personal information by contacting us at the email below. We will honor this request except where we're required to retain certain records by law (see above).
- Opt out of communications — unsubscribe from any promotional emails using the link included in those messages; you'll still receive transactional messages about orders you place.
VIII. State-Specific Rights (CCPA & Others)
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws — for example, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), and similar laws in other states. Where applicable, these may include the right to:
- Know what personal information we've collected about you and why;
- Request a copy of, or deletion of, your personal information;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and out of targeted advertising — we do not engage in either, so there is nothing to opt out of today;
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Colorado-specific note: as a business operating under a Colorado liquor license, we retain sales and delivery records as required by the Colorado Liquor and Tobacco Enforcement Division and Colorado Department of Revenue, which may take precedence over a deletion request for the legally required retention period.
IX. Children's Privacy
The App and Site are not directed to, and are not intended for use by, anyone under 21 years of age — not merely anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we've inadvertently collected information from someone under 21, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us using the details below.
XI. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We'll update the "Effective date" above when we do. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email where appropriate.
